As a free member, can I play music content in MOOV through CarPlay?

“Free users” log in to the MOOV mobile app and go to “My Account,” or access “Settings” on the MOOV website, then click “Upgrade Now” to become a “Paid Member” before they can use the CarPlay feature.

Are there any difference between the interface of MOOV in CarPlay and in MOOV Mobile App?

For easier navigation in the car, the interface of MOOV in CarPlay is different from that of the MOOV Mobile App.


How to change the display language of MOOV in CarPlay?

The MOOV language setting in CarPlay follows the language setting of the MOOV mobile application. To change the language, please go to the settings page in the MOOV mobile app.

Can I move songs forward or backward on time bar while playing songs in CarPlay?

The time bar is for displaying playback progress only and does not support forward or rewind functions.

How to save songs in CarPlay?

Tap “+” on MOOV music player page. The saved songs will be listed on “My Songs”. Please manage other settings or functions of “My Songs” through MOOV Mobile App.

How to search songs in MOOV through CarPlay?

CarPlay currently does not support the function to search for MOOV songs; you must use your phone to search for songs.

What should I do if there are issues playing music in CarPlay?

CarPlay delivers music playback quality that is consistent with the MOOV mobile application.

Music played via CarPlay follows the audio quality settings in the MOOV mobile app (e.g., 16-bit or 24-bit).

Support for different bit-depth formats
If a track is available in 16 bit or 24 bit quality and the relevant playback setting is enabled, CarPlay can play the corresponding audio quality.

Does CarPlay support watching videos?

According to Hong Kong regulations, drivers are not allowed to use any devices that may cause distraction while driving, including watching videos. Therefore, the current MOOV CarPlay feature does not support video content such as music videos, concerts, or rolling lyrics.
